Advance Rockhampton provides a range of programs and funding opportunities to support the economic development of the Rockhampton Region. A list of current funding opportunities, tenders, community engagements and surveys and economic programs can be found below.

Prosperous Precincts Grant Program

The Prosperous Precincts Grant Program offers up to $5,000 for businesses, organisations and individuals in designated parts of Rockhampton to upgrade their facilities or bring cultural events to Rockhampton City, breathing new life and ideas into the heart of Central Queensland.

ARENA Renewable Energy Funding

The energy sector is undergoing a profound and complex transformation as the shift to renewable energy gathers momentum. From research to large-scale deployment, Australian Renewable Energy Agency funding spans the entire innovation chain.

Queensland Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Jobs Fund

The Queensland Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Jobs Fund allows energy Government owned corporations to increase ownership of commercial renewable energy and hydrogen projects, as well as supporting infrastructure, including in partnership with the private sector.

Apprenticeships Incentives

This program provides employers with incentives to employ an apprentice. The Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program provides a range of financial incentives to Australian employers to offer apprenticeship opportunities and a living away from home allowance (LAFHA) to apprentices who need to move away from their parent's home to take up or retain an Australian apprenticeship.

CSIRO Kick-Start

Matched funding between $10,000 and $50,000 for start-ups and small to medium enterprises to help access CSIRO's research expertise and capabilities to help grow your business.

Westfund Community Grants

Westfund's Community Grants Program offers up to $120,000 in annual grants to eligible community organisations.

VendorPanel Marketplace is the online tendering system utilised by Rockhampton Regional Council. A list of current tenders be found on Council's website.

Rockhampton Regional Council's Tenders and Contracts page provides information for businesses wishing to supply goods and/or services to Council, a list of Pre-Qualified Supplier Arrangements and information on recently awarded contracts.

QTenders is the online tendering system utilised by the Queensland Government.
