Rookwood Weir

Nearing completion, the $367.2 million project will capture valuable water in the lower Fitzroy River for use across the region.

• The weir will create considerable water security and generate extensive agricultural development.

• Construction commenced 2020, completion expected 2023.

• Work packages associated with the delivery of the project include road upgrades, bridge construction and bulk earthworks.
