Advance Rockhampton and Infofish Australia present the annual Net Free Fishing Forum, held this year in Rockhampton. Almost a decade since net free zones were introduced in Rockhampton, Mackay and Cairns, this forum will be an opportunity to review progress and opportunities, assess how well the net free strategy has worked, and areas of focus into the future.
Attendees will have the chance to compare findings with other regional representatives, listen to informative and data-driven presentations, and join excursions around Rockhampton to discover how this community is building on its proud history as a barra fishing capital.
